12" L5'S? I have two kicker 12" l5's in a ported kicker box. they are powered by a kicker 750.1 amp but arent hitting as hard as i know they can. the bass knob is turned all the way up, the gain is at half, and the cross over is right under half. What can I do to make these babies hit harder as i know they can!

check your "phase" polarity

you have two L5s

{ohms=voicecoil rating}

[2ohms+2ohms parallel=1ohms(each L5)]1ohms+1ohms parallel=1/2 ohms
[2ohms+2ohms series=4ohms(each L5)]4ohms+4ohms series=8 ohms
in parallel your two L5 are 1/2 ohms
in series your two L5s are 8 ohms

your L5s are rated at 300 watts RMS per voice coil
your L5s are rated at 600 watts RMS both voice coils

your 750.1 is 375 wattsX1 in 4 ohms
your 750.1 is 750 wattsX1 in 2 ohms

your 750.1 is only stable at 2 ohms

the 750.1 is not stable at 8 ohms(although i dont think that will do anything to it,other than it wont sound good)

the 750.1 is not stable at 1/2 ohm(dont run it like that because you WILL BURN! it out)

running 1 L5 in series will give you 4 ohms (PERFECT)

your amp will run at 4 ohms (PERFECT)

then you can worry about adjusting your settings

Sell the other L5 and the box,get you a sinlgle box for the L5 you are gonna use -0r-

Get another 750.1(what sounds cheaper to you?)
