I bought a certified pre-owned car in September, 09. I got the insurance inspection done, but entirely forgot to do the safety inspection (or maybe I stupidly assumed that a certfied pre-owned vehicle will have been inspected). I recently got a ticket for the missing safety inspection. How serious is the offence?
