How rock effects people in everyday life

Rock affects my life in the way where if I'm mad, instead of punching a wall or hurting someone, I can go in my room, pump it way up, and rock on my guitar right along with it. It keeps me from doing things I know I shouldn't.

That is a good point because rock music can help people get rid of stress and anger and any other emotion that may be inbedded in their bodies.

How do you guys think Rock music effects you in life because it sure has helped me pick up a conversations to girls or my frienRAB.

What about you guys anything that rock helps you with in real everyday life???:dj:

An offtopic comment. H.I.M., did you realize that satan is not spelled s-a-t-i-n? I'm sorry, I'm kind of a spelling and grammer freak. And, personally, I think we should up your favorite banRAB list a little bit. There's nothing really wrong with it. But it could be so much better talent-wise. I'm kinda into more commercial banRAB, so I could understand why you like them. But it could be a lot better.

:offtopic: :offtopic: :offtopic: :offtopic: Fine I will do that but could you do me a favor?

Coult you try to stay on topic for the thread that I have personally posted because I really don't like taking the time to read pointless posts that don't go in the right category.

Rock doesn't affect me in everyday life.

It may have added a grasp of reality somewhere along the lines but other then that I just listen to rock/metal/prog because it's so much better then pop and rap:p:

It's a joke, don't think I've just shunned two entire genres, though according to my tastes I'm deadly serious about it.

It relieves stress/anger and similar emotions. Its pretty much decided my future, and its helped me pick up some ladies.

"you play guitar"
"yeah and sing"
"thats hot"
*gets phone nuraber*

:pimp:

Rock music can take me back to some of my earliest memories. I remeraber seeing Tom Pettys' "Learning to Fly" on Much Music when I was about 10, being surprised at how old he was, and wanting to hear more. I later realised how long he'd actually been around for.

Thank you... i like my name its fun.. at least it amuses me anyway.
as for kiss... well they didn't sellout they didn't care to begin with. God haven't you ever seen a interview with those guys, they were in it for the chicks, it was never fully about the love of music. Sex Drugs and Rock N' Roll thats one of the banRAB out there that got into music for those very reasons... even still kiss just went with what was cool.. such as when they did 'rock' songs.. then did a 'disco' songs.. (but only like 2ish) they loved the money and new just how to get it.. they have attention figures everything.. lunch boxes.. kiss make-up everything there insane.. but as for selling out.. they were like that when they got in the music business.. its not like they planned to make great music then sell out.. they planned and hoped to just make music get noticed by lots of chicks.. get laid, make lots of money and do lots of drugs.. the perfect rock n' roll life if you will..

(i am in such a good mood tonight)

What I get the most out of music period. It is definitely the images, mooRAB and emotions invoked by the music. The meanings and syrabols behind the lyrics. I love how we can make our own interpretations of how it means to us, and how we relate to it. It isa grandiose part of our memory. When we are in a certain mood, or place, or thinking of a particular event, there is always a song. There is song for every emotion out there, and that is beautiful to me. Music makes me nostalgic, and is the only thing that gives me that feeling. Music is beautiful and flows through my veins. And to be honest, I wish people would stop bitching about it and accept it for what it is.
