Im contemplating purchasing an 06 reg Mondeo with said engine. It's done 24,000 and is just over three years old and just out of warrenty. I have always had new cars but due to credit crunch/job situation this is not an option at the moment, The last thing i want it to have repair bill after repair bill.
The car has a full Ford service history and had a new pully pre tensioner fitted about 1000 miles ago under warrenty,
Is this going to be a safe purchase?
Any experiance of the 2.2 TDCI engine?
