How rare is it to find a martial arts school that practices outdoors?

All of the schools I have gone to so far have been indoors, I really want to learn skills outside sometime in the summer. Have any of you ever practiced outside?

There is a sayoc kali school here in VA beach who sometimes has knife fighting seminars out in the woods.Which is kinda cool but the whole technigue thing to me is bs too much fancy smancy shit to be effective if a 300 pound thug wanted to stab you with a knife, for me to believe it.

We train outdoors sometimes, regardless of the weather. We just got 8" of snow and I took my senior students out for some good old Kata training in their barefeet. Most of them didn't last too long but it was worth it to them.

Summer we train in the park as much as possible. Those are great classes!

I think it's very rare for schools to train outside, maybe outside every so often. But I live in England and it's always cold and wet here.
