How much money does it cost to open a liquor store? MN?
I, want to open a liquors store in MN,evenly i will retain attorney for assistance. just want to know basic information from current/previous owner of liquor store.I research several different populated area with allot of traffic. no school,church within a 1 mile of each location of my interest.
how profitable is liquors business anyway? how much is insurance for small retail liquor store?
what are the most difficulty circumstance of running a liquor store if any?

I agree, location is very important and if I buy existence store,monthly revenue must be above 20k.
 
I have been interesting in investing in the liquor business as well. I can't say I know a lot more than you do, but you have plenty of money to invest. I think the biggest challenge would be competition. You would really have to make your business stand out, or else have it in the most convenient location. If you are buying a previous liquor store, make sure you check the previous owner's financial statements. You want to get a decent return off of your 140,000 investment, so don't go paying 140,000 for a store than nets $3000 per year. That's all I know, talk to a lawyer.
