How petty are people over the Obama debate?

this is what I'd like to know because really i want to know if everyone else is noticing.I went on a forum a place where supposedly people are supposed to communicate their opinions without being set upon. I posted that I wa an Obama supporter and proud to be one and I got three things of hate mail, One calling me an assclown, an idiot, a moron and several insults another telling me that i was a brainwashed zombie and that Obama was the next hitler and yet another bombarding me with some metaphor about setting houses on fire and giving it time until the whole world burns down or something like that

If that is not petty what is? Has anyone else noticed this
do you research. Obama IS an American citizen
and you missed the point of it being petty. So everyone has to love Mcain or they're a asshole? I find something wrong with that
or vice versa

I'm not an Obama fan, but people can be nasty and petty.

I have my settings set to receive no emails. If I didn't, I'm sure I'd get lots of nasty ones.
 
people (conservatives) are by definition afraid of change- the world is changing and they are frantic and lashing out

You should see the Hate mail I get from "The Almighty's" Reporter and those who are actually Suzy. I just return polite answers and my real name and address. None of them have the guts to follow up with a letter.
