...the engine or frame number ? I have just bought what i think is a Honda XR 600 , but i'm not sure , i have a frame number and engine number and is there any way i can trace this to find out exactly what model i have .. How do i go about doing this ??
I am in the UK
 
Call a dealer and give them the VIN. The tenth digit indicates the year it was made. They have charts and such to tell you exactly what you have.
