my son is 2 1/2 and has just got his first bike for Easter..He loves it...BUT...doesn't understand he has to pedal...lol...we showed him but I think the pedals might be on too tight so we are gonna loosen them and see if that helps...but How old was your child when they were able to ride their bike (with the training wheels) successfully?
