i'm 13 years old, and i am still wearing girls clothes. i want to tell my mom that i want to wear juniors clothes, but i don't know how to. i can most likely fit.

You're old enough. Sizes 14-16 are equal to a junior's 0/1. The only difference is junior's looks a lot more mature, while girl's looks young with all the flowers and what not. It doesn't look nearly as cool.
