How old is your SIM card???

How often do you guys upgrade your SIM cards? I just replaced my SE K800i with a N73 today and I think I'm having SIM card issues. But my SIM card is about 2 years old. I got a new one from t-mobile when I got my 7610. Shouldn't that be recent enough?

Sim card registration failed? If yes, then that's a firmware bug. Update your firmware.

Have had my SIM card for 6 years and counting. I change phones every 2-3 months and have never had a problem. Only Nokia and Motorola phones though, never used a SE phone before. If there ever is a problem, firmware updates always fix it.

Turns out I had to do a hard reset on the phone. But some of the icons have moved around. Now everythings cool. I've been with t-mobile/voicestream for about six years and I'm on my second SIM card.

Same here! Have only had two phones in the past 10 years.. An 8290 for VoiceStream (now T-Mobile), and a 8390 that I just unlocked from Cingular about 4 months ago.. I am on the fence about trying to keep that foranother 10 years, or upgrading to something cooler GSM 850 would be nice...

me: first on Moto V600 (about 3 years) now on Nokia 3620
wife: first on Moto V600 (about 3 years) now on Sony Ericsson T616
mom: first on Moto V600 (about 3 years) now on Nokia 3120

No problems with changing phones.

Got one from 94 although I semi retired it a few months ago- had to have a 3g sim.

I?m changing phones recently, every few months but my SIM is around 10 years old I guess.. ..
