How old does one have to be in order to be a model in nude photography?

as a professional photographer I would never take photos of nude or semi nude children.... In the USA that means anyone under 18.... regardless of the purpose of 'art' or anything else. the law varies from state to state but regardless of where you live it is very clear on the penalty for breaking it and its just not worth it for the sake of 'art'

There is no age. You need to be old enough to enter into a contract or your guardian/parent would be required to on your behalf.
It would be rare for you to find a legitimate job until you were of legal age since no one is willing to go to jail for art. At some point between being a naked baby (on 75% of photographer's web sites) and being 18 any nude child is considered porn until proved otherwise. That's just because of people like the one who gave a truthful answer a thumbs down.

there is not age that you HAVE to be! if your parents give permission then whatever. but most people will not have you go naked for art until your at least 16 at LEAST!

Be careful, different states have different laws and in some even your parents may abetting to a 'child porn' statute.
