how old does my infant daughter have to be for a scratch test?

How old does my daughter need to be before we ask the doctor to do the scratch test on her?
 
My son was 9 months and breaking out constantly, and they refused us. Age? Or Stubborn Doctors? I have no idea.

I hope someone else gives has a better idea and that you figure out your child's allergies quickly.
