3) My Parents have agreed to pay for the costs of starting a business. They are lawyers, and can help me out.
It is our tradition that parents do not over kill the amount of money they give their kids. I no longer have an allowance(after my Bar Mitzvah) and have no money. I have a SSN (Social Security Number) I've been scanning for some sort of government site telling me about it but so far it's not go. Most sites say there is no age. I just want to be careful not to waste $500. I am not keen on working 12 hours on Saturday's and this is why I made this decision.
It's not that I have a spending addiction, but I'd like to know that in University I can be a little care free because of the hard work I've done now. I'm laying out a business plan to submit to my parents(they've said I need one before they provide the money and expertise for the incorporation crap)
You may say, well, they're lawyers, how come they don't know the age for business license. Well, they are specialists in certain kinds of law and have been practicing for 25+ years so they can't tell me.
I have a debit card with my own bank account but what is the point of having a bank account if you don't have any MONEY! My business will be based around selling second hand items and fixing them up. Sorry for the long post.
