R ranger_co_1_75 New member Jul 10, 2009 #3 Depends on where you live. In the mid west, once a week is enough. In the Southwest, once a day may not be enough. Check the soil. It should be moist all the time. Not muddy, but moist. Adjust your watering schedule to whatever it takes to keep the soil moist.

T trekkie706 Guest Jul 10, 2009 #4 1 inch of water a week if they are up and growing. Plants like moist soil but they don't like to be so moist that the roots rot.
