How often should i water my outdoor plant?

I got this plant as a gift from a gardening centre when i bought a bouquet of flowers.... they told me its an outdoor plant but i forgot to ask how often to water it ! :/

Im keeping it on the outer side of my window... and it sees quite abit of sun.... I also live in Malta which is quite a hot country.

Here's a picture of my plant and where i keep it... i have no idea what its called so maybe the photo will help!

oh wow :D thanks to queen victoria i now know their called million bells wooo! any idea what to feed them other then water?
