how often should i siphon out fish goldfish tank?

i have a goldfish tank that is 4.6 gallons with two very small comet goldfish! It has a filter a butterfly algae eater and 4 plants. How often should i siphon out the tank.
at the moment i am doing it once a month
 
i have a 4ft tank with 4 goldfish in it and a gibicep, fair enough they are adult and not small like yours but i do it every week. i take 1/4 of the water out and clean the filter pads too. if i do it any less it becomes murky. at the moment if the fish are just wee every month will do but once they grow you will have to do it more regular, as goldfish are dirty fish they eat a lot poo a lot and pee a lot, and swimming amongts that is bad for them if it gets realy bad.

it depends because if u have that bubbly thing, then u need to clean it out when the water looks murky. And if u don't have the bubbly thing, clean it out when u see a bunch of brown stuff at the bottom.
