for a betta fish? it has no filter

ALSO..i don't want all that "2.5 gallons...blah blah...how would you feel if you live in a closet" stuff

:]
gosh you people are so mean

a fish bowl - we'll assume it's at least a gallon. :) When I kept a betta in a gallon bowl, he lived for two years with me cleaning it about twice a week. I did do 100% water changes and rinse the bowl, however. I recommend you do the same.

LOL, I don't know what a betta fish is, but I have two fish and they live in a bowl and have no filter, I clean their fish bowls about once a week but depending on how messy they decide to be, maybe once every three days or so, I have two fighter fish, I don't know how different they are to your fish, but they are happy and healthy and I have had them about 2 years now, hope this help =)

Multiple partial water changes daily for a death trap.

It's sad that you don't care enough to even hear about their proper care. I guess the poor fish doesn't even have a heater. Well here you go anyway-
A single male betta should have at the very least 2.5 gallons, though preferably 5+ gallons, a gentle filter such as a sponge filter, and an aquarium heater to maintain the temperature between 77F-82F.

Well your going to get it.

A bowl or vase can not sustain anything close to a natural environment for a Betta. Just because you see it in a cup at the pet store doesn't mean you should give it such a shitty life. Get at least a 2.5 gallon tank with a filter and heater.

If you don't want to do that, you shouldn't be allowed to own pets you ignoramus. You want to take that blind fold off? Try reading.
