How often do you go to the cinema?

I've seen most of those and I want to see The Crazies.

This year I've seen:

Daybreakers, The Book Of Eli, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, All About Steve, It's Complicated, Up In The Air, Edge Of Darkness, Youth In Revolt, Invictus, Valentine's Day, The Wolfman, The Lovely Bones, From Paris With Love and Leap Year.

I have also seen Solomon Kane but I don't like to say, because the film was shit and there was this disturbing anti-cyberbullying ad before it.

I used to go to the Cinema at least twice a week sometimes more, but in recent years with all the takeovers and mergers in the industry it has gone from five national chains to two with no competition prices have incresed way beyond inflation so i vote with my wallet and no longer go. I have a pretty decent home cinema system so now i just wait a few months and watch in the comfort of my screening room.

i used to go often but i got sooooooooo fed up with the same boring neverending adverts , also the admission is scandalous and even more irksome is the lack of ushers or usherettes to reprimand ignorant , rude hooligans who only go to spoil the experience for other people , and more often as not they have sneaked in because most of the attendants are asleep , standing in a group laughing and joking thus making it easy to wander into a screen without paying , which makes my blood boil . but my biggest grievance is the recent habit of keeping the light s on until the main feature starts which is another factor making trips to the cinema less and less enjoyable

Yeah... unlimited carRAB Oh how I miss mine!!! Hubby and I used to go twice a week every week, more if a film festival was on.

But that was pre-children. Now its about once a year!

Tonight literally being the first time out in about 14 months and I have no clue what we going to see. God bless grandparents though lol

Mmmm stale popcorn and over iced coke ooo I cant wait!!

:D

Yip, saw Daybreakers, The Book of Eli, Up in the Air, Brothers, Edge of Darkness, The Wolfman, Youth in Revolt, From Paris with Love and seeing The Crazies this week.

Only films i regret watching out of that list is Wolfman and From Paris With Love, the rest i all liked/loved/really enjoyed.

Although i've never seen the same film 3 times at the cinema let alone 15! Twice is usually my maximum.

I should add I only go eight times a month because I get 4 days off from work a week and the cinema is on the way to the gym I go to 3/4 times a week. So normally watch a lunchtime viewing then go off to the gym.

I go more in the winter because I have more spare time...whereas I go less in the summer because I work more and the choice of films is usually a lot worse.....:)

You have the buy the 3D glasses though, or the film is ruined. I took mine off during Toy Story in 3D and the picture was tinted blue and green. It doesn't look right without the glasses.

Plus, my local cinema only charges

I've been about 35 times this year.

At the hight? About 3 times a week, like last weekend but usually and on average 3 times a month and it does depend what's on. It is a pain in my wallet and I should really get an unlimited card but the multiplexes just don't cater for everything I want to see. I do have plenty stacked up at home to watch but there's nothing quiet like the cinematic experience. :)
