is it a matter of months/ weeks/ days/ hours? and is it a total and quick flip, or is it a slow swing through the colors of the mind?
 
Depends on the person. In personal experiences, its a quick flip generally and its usually over little petty things. Although others it can be something big. It really and truly depends on the person.
