How often are you finding yourself rebooting your phone?

I usually reboot my phone every morning whe I get up but sometimes every two or three days. Not because I have to but rather because I'm anal about it.... (ie I like free memory and all the browsing I do causes a few MINOR mem leaks).

I can't think of the last time I rebooted because I HAD to. The newest version of the E61 is very very stable.

My E60 sometimes crashes when dealing with WiFi. Otherwise I never reboot unless when changing the phone language - one sad thing about S60 since S40 doesn't need a reboot for language change.

i know that there are issue, but if there is a real low mem, it reboots itself... so if you can see the apps running and you think it is causing some problems, then why not just close the apps... i think that is simpler and faster rather than rebooting...

i have not heard of sms not sending for any other issues, other than it was slow, but this was fixed with a software...

when the app freezes how do you close it? I have wondered this for a while since i got my e50, and remember seeing it somewhere in the millions of threads i have read but do not remember where.

to close any running app, just press the menu button until the running apps are shown on the top left corner, and then select the app you want to close and press "C", it will then ask you if you want to "exit" it, just select "yes"...

I cant speak for everyone, but my experience with symbian on the N80 and in particular, this N80ie firmware, closing apps do not fix the issue. First off, this new fw starts out with about 2mb less available ram from the start. Secondly, symbian seems to have the same issues windows does.. It does not properly reallocate your memory when you shut stuff off.. Yes, you get some back, but not all.. Some of it leaks into symbian never never land and before you know it, after using agile, web browser, the music player, and symella, you close em all and you got 6 mb left.. Time 4 a reboot.

agreed, not all mem related can be solved by exiting open applications, my point is, if and app can be closed to speed things up or solved any issue, it is much quicker and faster to do that rather than rebooting, and imho rebooting should only be done if there is a problem...
