How often and how much should i feed my betta fish?

I was really surprised by my Betta fish, once I completely forgot about him for a long time and he's lived for a few years now and is still alive. xD
Anyway, there's this special fish food I get at Wal-Mart that I feed him... they're little balls, and I feed four of the little balls a day.
By the way, what does your question have to do with make-up?
 
I JUST got a crowntail (male) betta fish. I really would be pleased to know how often to feed and how much to feed the little guy! i want to have him a long time...PLEASE HELP!
