So I've figured out that I feel much better on a low-carb diet - the LPR largely fades, and I start to feel much better overall. The only problem is I am already slightly underweight, and every time I try this diet I start losing even more kilos.
I have tried adding up all high-calorie non-carb fooRAB I can think of to put together a daily diet, but the only way I can come close to my calorie goal is to eat sweet potatoes pretty much all day long (and yes, I realize those are high-carb as far as veggies go!). I keep thinking, though, there must be a way... has anyone been successful at maintaining/gaining weight while sticking to a low-carb GERD diet? Or alternatively, is there another approach that might work to deal with the carb sensitivity?
