How my singing sounds different on the microphone and cellphone? (10 points)?

I record myself on the mic, and I said SO BAD! I record myself on the cellphone, and I sound normal. I don't get it, if the mic is my real voice, I am going to cry. Any ways I can hear my real singing voice?
