I wouldn't buy any used car that is over 200,000 miles.
#1. It will cost more to replace the part, such as timing belt, brakes, tires, etc...
#2. Scratches, dents, and needed a lot of maint....
#3. Doesn't matter what the brand name it was, when time for repairing, it will costs you no matter what.
But if I would buy your car I wouldn't pay more than $500.00. I would use the other $1,500.00 to fix the car up.
