HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST TO REPLACE PISTONS ON A 1996 HONDA CIVIC?

Replacing only the pistons would be foolish. The engine must be completely disassembled to do it, and NO mechanic would warranty an engine with only new pistons.

Replace or rebuild the entire engine if this one's worn out. About 3K give or take.
 
I AM LOOKING TO BUY THE CAR BUT I DONT WANT TO GET STOCK WITH A HIGH REPAIR BILL. PLEASE HELP I AM A SINGLE MOM AND NEED A CAR KINDA URGENT.
 
It would cost more than the car is worth.

Replacing the pistons (I don't know why you'd want to do that) would require rebuilding the engine. On a 13 year old Honda, that job would cost considerably more than the car is worth.
