they run from 500 on up for real good used one ,Toyota engines are the highest ones on the market to buy because they usually don't give many problem's,a good one with low mileage on it can cost as high as 800 and up,depending on the mileage it has on it,i paid around 700 for one with 70 thousand on it,good luck.
