How much would it be to paint a small section of your car?

Alright, so a kid hit my car with some kind of ball, and put a dent in the way back on the driver's side. I drive a 2002 Sebring. My dad got the dent completely out, sanded it (and some other stuff), and it looks really good, other than there is a silver section on a blue car! It's not huge, but still very noticable. I am wondering how much it would cost to get that section painted?

No matter how small the repair you have to refinish the entire panel, or if the dent is near another panel you have to blend the paint (basecoat) into that panel to assure color match. The reason is the basecoat covers the repair but the clearcoat (topcoat) has to go to an edge or it will eventually peel back ruining the paint job. Further, all trim, handles moldings, etc need to be removed and reinstalled so the paint covers under these areas for the same reason.

Therefore, even though the repair is small the cost to refinish can be expensive, if done right.

Go to several reputable autobody shops and get free estimates.

umm it shouldnt cost much at all, is a madder of fact you could probely paint over it yourself, and if you dont feel like doing that just take it somewhere to get it done, or just repaint the whole thing a different color
