How much would it be to just paint the door of my pontiac sunfire?

I had to get a new door for my 2001 Pontiac Sunfire, 4 door, in blue. I heard the color my car is a rare color. I have to paint just the passenger side door, because I needed to replace it due to other reasons. the color it is now, is green. how much would it be to just paint the door? or an estimate? please help me out ; I keep asking questions & no one has answers or an estimate.

Just to paint the exterior of the door will probably run you around $300. It will not match perfectly without "blending" the adjacent body panels as well though. Your car has a metallic color and metallics are sensative to air pressure, humidity and the angle of which they are sprayed. You can spray 3 panels on your car on three different days from the exact same batch of paint and you will have 3 different shades of blue just due to atmospheric changes. To do it properly will probably cost you around $800-$1000
 
I just had my 2000 sunfire completely repainted and a dent repaired for 600 at macco. I went to good paint shops but it was more than i had paid for the car (the paint cost was ~$4000) so i have no idea what just a door would cost but my guess a macco or similar paint shop would be around a couple hundred dollars
