You do realize that most of these illegals are working and generating revenue for the companies they work for. That revenue is then taxed.
For a concise argument you would need numbers on both money they bring and draw from the economy, but my guess is it is closer to even than you may think.
The real money is lost in the bureaucracy around immigration control.

As well as giving SSI, food stamps, housing assistance, etc to Americans who are simply too lazy to work?
If you want to come to this country to work and be a productive part of this country, fine. But if you want to do it illegally you should be treated as a criminal. Period. No exceptions. Nada. Put em back in cattle trucks or boats and send em back. Make em work until they ship out.
Difficult to put a dollar amount on it, but would surely help out the taxpayers a lot.
Granted Obamam would probably find some way to throw it away!

I agree, they're criminals and should be sent home. Please take note, I have absolutely no problem with people immigrating here legally.
The issue is that catching them and sending them back home obviously isn't working too well. Here's the real answer, start penalizing the people that are easier to find, the ones who are profiting off of their labor. If they couldn't get work, the problem would take care of itself. It'd be extremely easy to make fines and penalties for employing illegals so stiff that no one would ever weigh the risk against profit. Here's the big problem with that, the government usually does what big businesses want.
