My girlfriend has managed to tear the plastic air dam on her car. Probably snagged it on a curb or something, but now it hangs down and drags when she is backing out of the drive way.
The car is a 2001 Honda Accord. I have removed air dams on my American trucks before, but have no experience with putting ones on. Is this something I can do at home? If so, what parts do I need to order and what tools will I need?
Also, can I just take off the air dam? Does the car really need it?
