My 1990 Toyota Camry DX has a fuel leak. The gas can be smelled a good 10 feet away from my car. One of my friends identified the issue when they were walking by my car. Upon farther inspection he found that the whole underbelly of my car was covered in gas including the exhaust manifold. I understand this car is not drivable in this condition, and is very dangerous. Due to this fact I am going to have my car towed (thank god for AAA) to a locale garage that uses the Chilton labor guide. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how much it would cost to have the car inspected and repaired. I understand that this can only be a ball park figure because I have not identified an exact problem. In addition I am only looking for a price to fix the car. I don't want any do it your self tricks, or advice that my car is worth nothing as I am aware that these are both concerns. While I love to say my has reached its economic life and that I should just get rid of it I do not have that luxury. I am hoping that my car can be fixed and really need an understanding on price before I bring my car in to the garage.
Thank you so much
