How much will it cost to replace a bumper on a jeep?

i think it is a grand cherokee maybe from 2000 but i dont know. any ideas?
it's not my car so i dont know the exact type. my dad is talking to the owner about it all and i'm just curious as to how much it is going to cost. it was the rear and it was painted blue. there was a dent with a small hole in the center so im thinking they are going to need to replace the bumper. i skidded on ice today and rammed into it.
 
Just the cost to replace it or the cost of the bumper? A complete assembly or just the cover? Front or rear? You think it`s a grand cherokee but aren`t sure and you aren`t sure of the year. How do you expect anyone to give you a price based on your guess and lack of any real info?
