How much will i spend installing a head unit in my 1994 pontiac grand am?

All i want is a unit that i can plug my ipod into, how much will that cost?
I also want to know if all pontiac mounting kits are the same for each model and year, and the price of that.
Im not trying to spend too much money and i will be doing all the installing myself.
