How much to restore a '75 Yamaha RD 350 B?

Well, sight unseen it is difficult to assess. You are fortunate if it was stored inside out of the weather, that will lessen any damage the elements do to them. does the engine kick over? Does it turn freely?

As for the gaskets and such, don't be too hasty. Get it running and see if they need to be replaced. Probably fork seals, definately fresh oil in the engine, and in the oil tank. Make sure the oil pump is working. The cables probably just need to be lubed up. Then the fun of cleaning all those contacts inside all the handlebar controls. And inside the "electronic boxes". I know I restore old Yamahas, and have a 1970 Yamaha CS3C sitting in my workshop that occassionally I take out for a ying around the neighborhood

My dad's bike has been siting in the garage for about the last 20 years or so. I was just wondering how much it would be to fix it up?

I was thinking I would have to replace all the gaskets, fluids, tubes, etc.

Can someone give me a price estimate and tell me a bit more about what I would have to replace?

Thanks.

The bike has been stored inside the whole time.
As for the paint, it is almost spotless. I really want to work on it this summer so I can ride it my senior year.
