Just had my husband's car towed after all efforts failed to get the key to turn. The repair shop says it is most likely the ignition switch (cylinder lock) and with the towing, it will run us about $650. Just
curious to know if this estimate is reasonable or am i getting taken for a ride.
Okay, here's the breakdown he gave me. $95 for the tow, $170 for labor and a whopping $360 for parts. I think that is where they're getting me. Ignition cylinder, casing,keys and coding. Did i forget to mention it's a dealership?
