I was rear ended last week and need my rear bumper replaced. The insurance (State Farm) accepted liability and yesterday I took it to one of their claim shops for an estimate. I was given a check for $720.82 to get the car repaired, but I feel as if I was low-balled on the estimate. All the agent checked was the bumper, but I was under the impression that the whole car (especially the alignment) should be checked after an accident. Also, the estimate only covers non-OEM parts, which disturbs me quite a bit. I would have no problem with this if I already had a recycled bumper on my car, but the bumper I had was in perfect condition and now I am forced to put a recycled one on or pay the cost difference myself. Does anybody know if this estimate is correct, or their procedures for going about the estimate are correct. And if not, what options do I have to dispute this estimate?

No worries, this is the best way to deal with insurance. Go to the junkyards and get one the same colour as yours, they usually sell for around 100 dollars. Maybe 200. Then just change it yourself and you just made $500 probably. The car is 9 years old anyway.
