How much to fix the motor mount on a 2001 Ford Focus?

Yes, check with Auto Zone. If it is actually a motor mount, they will have on and will have the instructions to replace it.
Get a new mechanic because he is shafting you.
 
I have a 2001 Ford Focus SE (which I regret everyday) and I a couple of months ago I started hearing a loud noise and took it to the mechanics. The mechanic told me it was the motor mount that needed to be fixed. The noise is coming from the Passenger side so im taking it that's the side that needs to be fixed. Well my question is what is the price range of getting it fixed? He told me 900.00 thru 1,500.00... YIKES! If so might as well buy a new car! LOL. But then again my friends told me he ripped me off cause he charged me 200.00 to fixed the breaks. =[[ Yeah I know I'm dumb but my dad was out of town and I needed them bad! LOL


Please help.

I live in the lower texas area so I don't know if location has anything to do with the price range. THANKS A LOT! =D
 
you should only be charge 3 shop hours tops, usually $60-$75 an hour plus part! part should range from $25-$50! It is not that difficult to change the mount, fair price with part should be $200
