how much to bench and what to eat?

i am 5'9 weight 137 pounds and was wondering what would be ideal for me to be able to bench and also what should i be eating(salad,steak,etc.) to be able to workout at my best
 
try benchin like 30-40 lbs. after that seems light to you go a lil bit heavier but dont lift to much so you dont get hurt.

you can eat anything just bout. my friend eats everything he wants but he takes protien shakes. and he builds muscle.
