...he get an 06 Acura RSX Type-S? ? i'm planing on getting either an 06 Acura RSX Type-S or an 08 Scion TC, my parents both have good driving records and are planning on putting me on there plan but saying my mane vehicle is my dads old Nissan pickup and my dad on what ever car i get which is legal since no matter what car i get in im insured and the cars will be insured for who ever drives them as long as that person is on thee policy, my parents both have full coverage and will get it also for what ever car i get,
so here's the question besides the fact that no matter what car i get the policy will almost double what will the difference be between the two
also im an a b student who took drivers ed and im getting all the discounts i can any help would be great
also my parents have state farm if it makes any difference

if u can let them buy the car put in their name THEN let them add u to the policy...it would be cheaper to do that rather than putting it on ur name since ur 16....welll my peeps pay 100 something bucks a month which is quite unbelievable but my dad has his ways right :D...

i dont really understand you because you didnt use punctuation. any way, the premiums will depend on what company you are with. Every company charges a higher premium for drivers under 25, the premium is then adjusted depending on your gender, where you live and your driving habbits. since you are a new driver and a male i can only assume they will hit you with the highest possible premium on all cars you are entered on. So if your parents put you on all 3 cars, they have to pay the higher premium on all 3, regardless of whether you drive them or not. If you are only going to drive the acura, only get your name on the acura. its cheaper that way. you can get the car registered in your name or your parents name, it doesnt matter.

You're doing something completely unethical. if your insurance ever finds out the truth about what car you're driving, and theires a bunch of ways they can, they can cancel the policy for misrepresentation. Including not having to pay for any accidents you may get into. By telling your carrier what you are admitting to telling them you are not allowing them to collect what they contractually would be entitled to collect. They are not getting their fair price for the services they are rendering (you're going to get a lot of responses from people saying that insurance companies have been ripping off people for years so return the favor... that's an old worn out allegation that has no creative merit. Its OK for a carrier to fork out $100,000 on an insurance claim even though their insured has made one $200 payment. It is because the carrier is abiding by their contract with their insured. Nobody seems to have a problem with that!). What if the carrier took your premium money, agreed to insure you and then refused to pay on a legitimate claim. You wouldn't want them to do that to you so don't do it to them... Don't misrepresent the statements on the application since you or your parents will be signing a declaration that all the statements and items on the application are true and correct. It could cause you more problems than you need. Good luck.
