How much time will a first time offender serve in jail if...?

He is being charged with PC273.5(A) and PC422 ? He lives in California, San Bernardino County to be exact. They might be felonies, but am not sure since he has never been in trouble with the law before. How much time if they are both felonies, or how much time if they are misdemeanors? This is a domestic violence case.
