It's in really good condition with no flaws. And i also have a really nice protec case and a few other things like extra reeds ligature, cleaning stuff...
How much should i expect to get?
And if i were to keep it for a long time and sell it later would i get more?

Sadly, the Buffet B12 is a student model clarinet. It is made of plastic (ABS resin)... and even though it is a good clarinet, you won't get much for it.

You should figure about half the original price, and then subtract $50 for new pads, etc. (even if it doesn't really need them). So if you bought it for $500, you should get about $200.

Now with the case (ProTech is popular AND durable), and depending on the reeds (are they Vandoren?!- and NEW!?)... you could probably add that $50 back on. The mouthpiece and ligature are not worth anything unless they are pro models... if you're still using the ones that came with the horn, they are not worth anything.

Even if you kept this horn for 100 years, it would not be worth any more. The horns that appreciate in value are a) pro models with high end materials (Grenadilla wood, Cocobolo, Rosewood), b) were a limited series (only 1000 or less made), or c) was owned by a notable clarinetist (ie Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, etc).

Sorry it's not worth more, but good luck trying to sell it!

PS- You may want to take it to your local music store and see if you could do a trade for a downpayment on an upgrade? Not all stores will do this, but it's worth asking! :)
