...and what should it look like? Im having my worn cylinder rebored, and ive been quoted £30 for a rebore and honing. I will be providing the piston and rings , which will be .50mm oversized. My bore is at standard currently.
Ive had bad luck with rebores in the past, and so i would like to avoid another bad job. m under the impression that a rebore and honing should be glassy smooth, with fine cross-hatch swirling - i.e as per factory new - no roughness
is this price too cheap and what should i expect it to look like once done?
