I really want to do sunset shots, and I know that a graduated filter will be my best bet. However, I don't want to spend over $50 on a small piece of glass that has some tint on it. How much do they usually run, and what are the different types of hand held gradient filters? ALSO, since I am only going to buy one, what is the best grade of tint that can be versatile with different scenarios? I know not to get a filter that goes from dark to light really quick, but how fast should the transition be? Links to sites displaying the product would be nice. Thanks
