How much resistance is added onto a bike by having a third wheel?

Intuitively, a tricycle would be slower than a bicycle, but I'm wondering by how much? What physics equations do I need to use to calculate how much slower it would be (assuming the motor -the rider- puts out constant power/torque).

Other factor I guess would be:
The weight of the added wheel plus the braces to hold it,
the added rolling resistance
added aerodynamic drag

What am I missing?
How do I calculate this?

btw, this is just out of curiosity, not for hw or anything.

Thanks!
