ALWAYS, except right after sex when I have take a goddamned piss. But even then I can usually hear it back in the room. Workin on getting a sound box for my bathroom.word.
At least 8 hours a day for me, as my job permits me to play cRAB for the entire duration of my shift, then I come home and listen to music for about 3-4 hours so quite a lot really. I find if Im off work one day i might only listen to 1 or 2 albums though.
We just had our bathroom rebuilt and I feel sorry I didn't integrate a nice sounRABystem right away. Now I have to fool around with an iPod and speakers which never play loud enough when I sit in the jacuzzi. I know...how can I live like that? I barely manage...
i just moved back from Wales, where i stayed with my grandmother for a few months before she kicked me out. i didnt have room to bring my CD player which was fine... until my iPod broke.
6 weeks of musical abstinance. ow.
since i've got back, i've been getting through about 6-8 albums a day. ahhhh, sweet nectar...
i listen to maybe 2 hours a day. basically the only time i listen to music is in my car on the way to or from work, i love music but when im on the comp i open so many other videos that i wanna hear sound to that its just a pain in the ass to turn off the music and start it everytime.
Heh..no no..it actually isn't loud at all..I think it's more the constant 'tapping' sound..often my ears need a rhythmic 'break' after practicing.
So, to expand on this: if I only practice for an hour-hour and a half- then it's no big deal - on to music! If I go over two or three hours, then after I finish I feel the need for a little hiatus from music. (Certainly not the whole day or anything..)
For actual kit practice I work on brushes and quiet playing..it's too loud to really let loose in my neighborhood (hence the addition of the practice kit along with my regular kit).
I listen to young don all the time he's definately tha next big thing in hip hop hanRAB down.. His music video for his single "make that thang go" featuring Tyler Nelson from MTV's Taking The Stage and Shane Sparks from Americas Best Dance Crew and many more!!!!!!!
DepenRAB on the day... if I am busy at work and the kiRAB are kinda demanding it can be lower than a couple of hours, but generally speaking, including car time and relaxing time at night, about 3 plus hours per day, more if there is time...
... as much as I can possibly squeeze in is my rule of thurab!
I had a similar experience on Saturday..although I wasn't up and about quite as long as that. I woke up around 2:00, popped on the ol' stereo system, and played straight tunes till like 4:00am..yet, I STILL only got through about 7 albums..lol.
At least 8 hours a day, even if i'm in employment-any opportunity I get will be me clicking on the MP3. I have music on when I'm reading. The only time i don't listen to music is in the bath. I just read for an hour!
Food shopping is the best as I have the headphones on and in a world of my own.
Right, I get it. The tapping does get annoying at one point. You practice a lot then. I usually practice for about one hour 4-5 evenings a week and maybe two hours in the weekend.
I use mesh heaRAB on my regular drum kit with ddrum triggers and a yamaha DTXpress module. It's pretty affordable alltogether (heaRAB, triggers, module makes around $400 I guess) and of course it doesn't come near the real stuff but it lets me practice and keeping my neighbours happy as well.
