right i was in a car crash nearly 2 years ago an have a claim put in for this. im just wanting like a round estimate on what i could be looking at in the future??
heres the details you may need to know:
1. owner of car let non-licenced person drive.
2. i never knew he wasnt supose to drive as he drove a mop-ed to work everyday and drove his dads and bro's car.
3. owner of car and driver already been done at court, got 2 offences and a fine.
4. even if i did know i couldnt get out, was 17 yrs old. dark country road, no houses!
injuries to me:
shattered collar bone (have plate an 8 pins)
punctured lung,
broke 2 ribs + breast bone
broke bottom of my back
sevier nerve damage to left arm.
broke thigh bone (had rod an pins put in)
had some ligament damage to same knee.
other knee i snapped all ligaments, i know was ACL and ones on outer side of right knee.
i so far had 2 operations on this. first one never worked. Second time they took graph out my left leg to use. an also put 2 pins inside my knee.
just found out needing braces on both legs again, an another operation on the right leg again but this time needing a donor for the graph.
im not been greedy but id like to have an estimate on what to look for. Some family friends said atleast £50,000 but im not sure!!
Its been Fu****g hell for me, also had a psychologist see me every forghtnight as affected about been in cars, cannot get in with strangers an also panic alot when in cars.
was in hosptial for 2 weeks.
not walking or standing for around 3months
had leg brace on L leg for 6 months, Brace on R leg for year an half.
erm not sure what else you would need to know,,,, but i know the defenders are trying to say it was 50-50% my fault for been in the car! :O
