How much money should I accumulate during Navy boot camp?

Im starting out as an E-3. Please just give me an estimate or actual number. Dont just tell me it varies. Surely someone must have an idea.
Chris, I was told you are in fact an "e-1" as in no extra stripes or recognition, but you get the paygrade of e-3 all through boot camp.

E-1's have to clean the commodes while E-3's get the urinals. That's the difference between the two.

There are a lot of deductions from the first couple paydays (you pay for everything, including hair cuts). If you're lucky you'll come out of there with $1,500.
