hike the entire appalachian trail? im just going myself, only need to buy enough equipment and food for myself. Don't need top of the line stuff, but good enough...also if you could give me a short list of the basic equipment needs outside of tent, sleeping bag, basic stuff beyond the painfully obvious. and how long can i expect to hike the ENTIRE trail?
