how much money do they take out of military pay for taxes?

like i know for E-1 its 1400 a month, but how much for a single guy would they take out?

Doesnt matter if you work for the military or not-they take out about 25% of the total gross of your check,

Count on them taking about 30% out in taxes and all the other good stuff you have to pay.

I believe it's roughly 20%(give or take) taken out of military pay for taxes.

Depending if your'e married or not, and how many kids? Rule of thumb is around 28% with a high of 35% and a low around 16% of the gross
